How Invisalign Works
Each tray in the series is a little different from the one before it, so as you work through the set, your teeth gradually move into place. The trays are clear and come out when you need them to, which is what finally makes straightening their teeth feel practical for a lot of adults.

The process: we start with a digital scan of your smile and use it to map out your entire treatment plan before you begin, so you can see roughly where you’re headed from day one. You’ll switch to a new tray every one to two weeks at home, and stop by our Drexel Hill office every six to eight weeks so we can check that everything is tracking the way it should.
What to know: Invisalign only works as well as you wear it, so it takes some discipline to keep trays in on schedule. For very involved bite corrections, fixed braces sometimes give more control, and if that is the case for you, we will say so at your consultation and help you get to the right specialist.

We quote Invisalign treatment as one of two straightforward fees, based on how involved your case is. Your doctor reviews your scans and submits your treatment plan to confirm which fee applies before you begin, so you know your number going in, not partway through treatment. When you’re ready to move forward, a one-time $200 records fee is due when we submit your scans and treatment plan for review. This fee is separate from your Invisalign treatment cost.
