William Kessler, DMD

Dr. William Avi Kessler was born and raised in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. After high school, he spent two years studying philosophy and theology in Beit Shemesh, Israel, an experience that deeply shaped his values of empathy and lifelong learning. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree in Biology from Yeshiva University in New York City.

Dr. Kessler received his dental training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with honors in Community Oral Health and was awarded the American College of Dentists Outstanding Leader Award. His dedication to clinical excellence and patient-centered care led him to complete a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he developed a special interest in surgical and esthetic dentistry.

He has continued to invest in advanced training throughout his career, becoming a Fellow of the Resnik Implant Institute after completing over 150 hours of hands-on continuing education in implantology and prosthetic design. He was also awarded first place in a national clinical case competition by the Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry—recognition of his commitment to delivering esthetic results and patient satisfaction.

Dr. Kessler is known for his warm, compassionate approach and his ability to create transparent, personalized treatment plans that focus on long-term oral health and confidence. He is proud to continue the tradition of high-quality dental care and is excited to serve and grow with the Bloomfield Dental community.

When he’s not in the office, you can find Dr. Kessler rock climbing, running with friends, exploring Philly’s vibrant food scene, or getting away to hike and camp in Pennsylvania’s beautiful natural landscapes. A proud transplant, he’s called Philadelphia home for over 10 years—and has become an enthusiastic Phillies and Eagles fan along the way.
